Abbott completes Sigmanetics acquisition

Abbott Enterprises Inc has acquired Sigmanetics Inc of Concord CA. For more than 50 years, Sigmanetics has manufactured and supplied such products as voltage converters, speedometers, tachometers, and road speed generators. Abbott manufactures and supplies a line of fleet management systems, including the Atrol II activity recorder, Abbott tachograph, and GPS fleet tracking system. The company will manufacture, service, and supply all of the newly acquired product lines from its expanded facility in Pine Bluff AR.
