Einar Markussen has joined F T Silfies of Nazareth PA as regional operations director and will be based in Aberdeen MD.
Atlantic Bulk Carrier Corp has recognized six of its drivers for achieving one million accident-free miles: Jerry Davidson, Jeff Logan, Chuck Mullens, Paul Peyton, Aaron Wills, and Dan Wyffels. Davidson has worked for Atlantic Bulk since 1990, making local and regional deliveries in northern Virginia and the surrounding region. Mullens, hired in 1995, also works from the Strasburg VA terminal. Peyton, who joined Atlantic Bulk in 1996, has made deliveries all along the Eastern Seaboard. Wills routinely delivers cement throughout the Tidewater region of Virginia. Both Logan and Wyffels joined Atlantic Bulk after completing truck-driver training schools. Each has worked in both local and regional operations while with the company.
Robert “Bob” Norris has joined NationaLease as national accounts executive for the Western territory. Norris most recently was with Scully NationaLease in Fontana CA as a business development manager in the dedicated sales area.
