TruckStops routing and scheduling software version 2.7 from MicroAnalytics contains new resource utilization Gantt Charts. These are the standard format for displaying a schedule graphically, using horizontal bars to represent sequences, timing, and time span for each routing activity. Gantt Charts illustrate when each vehicle is traveling or idle, when a stop is serviced, and when orders are loaded or unloaded. Editing capabilities include rescheduling stops and modifying route plans.
With version 2.7, users can now use one-step processes to import data from either Excel spreadsheets or ASCII delimited files. TruckStops can be used either dynamically, for scheduling vehicles on routes that change daily, or strategically, for planning and updating fixed delivery routes.
