TMW Saluted as Northeast Ohio Entrepreneur

The 2001 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Business Services (Northeast Ohio) has been awarded to Tom Weisz and TMW Systems Inc. The company and Weisz, its founder, were chosen from more than 200 nominations and from among 20 finalists in eight categories. The announcement came during an awards dinner and ceremony at the Renaissance Cleveland (OH) Hotel recently.

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award is sponsored nationally by CNN, the Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, NASDAQ, and USA Today. Northeast Ohio sponsors for 2001 included Marsh, Jones Day, McDonald Investments, Bowne, the Ohio Department of Development and SBN Magazine. TMW and all other Northeast Ohio finalists now advance to the national competition at the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur International Conference and National Awards Gala.
