Nazareth PA-based F T Silfies Inc, a Mid-Atlantic dry bulk carrier, has chosen TMWSuite from TMW Systems as the enterprise management platform for its fleet.

Silfies chose TMWSuite to replace an in-house system that lacked robust automation, reporting, and integration capabilities the carrier needs to accommodate growth. TMWSuite will also be used as the platform for other trucking companies acquired by Silfies' parent company, Quantum Equity Partners.

With the implementation of TMWSuite, Silfies plans to eliminate several manual processes for dispatch, billing, and settlement — allowing personnel to concentrate on more customer-focused issues. TMWSuite will also enable Silfies to integrate its mobile communications and imaging processes into a single system to achieve more operating efficiencies.
