ALK, TMW Become Partners

ALK Technologies Inc www.alk.com and TMW Systems Inc www.tmwsystems.com have created a partnership to market FleetCommander, a fleet optimization system. FleetCommander is interfaced to TMW's PowerSuite and TL 2000 enterprise management software systems.
By combining information from TMW and mobile communication systems, FleetCommander provides a graphical view of fleets using routing, mileage, and mapping technologies of PC*Miler. Combined with PC*Miler or PC*Miler/Streets, FleetCommander automatically sorts and interprets real-time vehicle data to produce maps showing location, status, arrival time, and condition of trucks anywhere on North American roadways. Compatible systems include Qualcomm, @Track Communications, Aether Systems, and Terion. Driver “check calls” also may be accumulated and interpreted by TMW.
