In an effort to work more closely with its trucking industry counterparts to advance technology that tracks real-time freight shipments, Web-based shipment tracking firm Freight-Tracking.com has joined the American Trucking Associations.

"Freight-Tracking.com anticipates working closely with the ATA and its many members to ensure the visibility of freight while being transported," said Pandu Nagahawatte, chief executive officer. "We look forward to this opportunity to add true value to the many trucking companies that are ATA members."

ATA President and Chief Executive Officer Bill Graves welcomed Freight-Tracking.com’s decision to join the ranks of trucking leaders. Graves said technology has an important role to play in advancing the reliable movement of freight.

Freight-Tracking.com is currently seeking freight carriers to participate in its Beta testing process so it can introduce an industry proven solution to clients throughout the United States. For further information, visit freight-tracking.com.
