Nashville TN flooding compels TMW to move TransForum User Conference

Jun 1, 2010 12:00 PM

TMW Systems announced that its 2010 TransForum User Conference and Exhibition has been moved from the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville TN to the Gaylord Texan property in Grapevine TX near the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport.

After reports of extensive flooding damage to the original TransForum event location, the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville and TMW Systems began working with staff from Gaylord to make new location arrangements. This year's event will begin on the evening of Sunday, September 19, and run through Wednesday, September 22.

“The sheer amount of flooding and resulting water damage to the beautiful atrium, hotel, and convention center spaces at the Gaylord Opryland made it unlikely that the site would re-open in time for our event,” said Michael August, vice-president and general manager, TMW Systems and co-chairman of the TransForum planning team.
