Carbon Express Inc, Wharton NJ, recently recognized drivers who earned the distinction of achieving various levels of Million Mile Safe Driving status.
Carbon Express President Steve Rush expressed his admiration for his drivers and their accomplishments: “To achieve what these men have achieved is simply mind-boggling. To drive one, two, or three million safe miles without an accident in today’s conditions on the hectic, overcrowded, congested roadways that these drivers travel is almost incomprehensible. I am truly honored to have these great professionals working with me.”
The milestones and the drivers are as follows:
- One Million Miles- Harvey King of Fort Plain NY, Gary Maxwell of Hackettstown NJ and Bob Wyker also from Hackettstown NJ.
- Two Million Safe Driving Miles was achieved by Jeff Hunt who hails from Johnson City TN.
- The amazing feat of Three Million Miles Safe Driving was achieved by two Carbon Expressdrivers- New Jersey Motor Truck Driver of the Year Jack Hansen of Lake Hopatcong NJ and the late Brandon “Doc” Marcino of Monroe Township NJ.
The drivers will be formally recognized at a special Carbon Express safety banquet in April.
