Westmor Industries LLC, Morris MN, has acquired Determan Brownie Inc, a privately held company headquartered in Minneapolis MN. The new division of Westmor Industries will be known as Westmor Fluid Solutions LLC and will maintain a manufacturing and service facility in northwest Minneapolis.

“While both companies serve and sell products into similar industries, we historically have not manufactured many competing product lines,” says John LaFontsee, general manager of the newly formed Westmor Fluid Solutions, “The new partnership creates some pretty exciting synergies in product and service that will bolster Westmor’s position as a major manufacturer and supplier of fuel handling systems, parts and service.”

Founded in 1964, Determan Brownie manufactures and services an extensive line of fluid handling equipment and systems. The company’s diverse business performs refined fuel terminal modifications, and employs service teams for pump and meter repair, proving, calibration, and inspection. The 48-year-old Minnesota Company supports customers in aviation, refineries, pipelines, terminals, utilities and government agencies.
