Rand McNally's Transportation Data Management subsidiary has licensed its MileMaker mileage and routing software to Cooper Tire. Cooper plans to integrate MileMaker into a software package from i2 Technologies for use in carrier selection, freight consolidation, freight rating, and auditing driver invoices.
MileMaker software includes HHG mileage and routing options. Integrating MileMaker with the i2 package is expected to optimize Cooper's internal freight rating, auditing, and payment processes further.
