Western Star Trucks relocates headquarters

Western Star Trucks is relocating its headquarters, including sales, marketing, dealer operations, and financial departments, to Redford MI in the Greater Detroit area. It will start operating from its new location in the second quarter of 2005.
Since 2000, Western Star has been based in Willoughby OH in the Cleveland area. Western Star trucks will continue to be built at the Portland OR truck manufacturing plant. This plant employs 1,800 people to produce a range of heavy-duty commercial vehicles including the entire Western Star product line.
