Dixon Bayco has introduced its new FloTech API-compatible socket with Guaranteed for Life (GFL) socket wear rings. Trailer-mounted API sockets suffer significant wear on the J-slots and require frequent replacement. The New FloTech FT300SS Optic and FT301SS Thermistor sockets have a patented stainless steel wear ring that is guaranteed for life against wear. Field tests show little sign of wear after a full year of service. FloTech GFL sockets are also available in face-plate-only assemblies to upgrade existing installations.

Socket contact blocks and wear rings can be disassembled without breaking any wire connections. Replacement face-plates are interchangeable with all current socket housing. This permits an easy upgrade to the new GFL socket. Sockets are also compatible with ground bolts and VIP modules. The new modern styling and compact package make for a sharp clean installation on any trailer. The GFL socket is patented.
