Scania distributor lands its largest order to date

Beers Bedrijfsauto bv, Scania's distributor in the Netherlands, has signed a contract for delivery of a total of 560 tractor units during 2003 to Vos Logistics, one of Europe's largest haulage companies.

Repair and maintenance contracts have been signed for all of the trucks.

The agreement with Oss, Netherands-based Vos is Beers' single largest order to date. Most of the trucks are two-axle tractor units with big sleeper cabs fitted with Scania's 420-horsepower 12-liter engine (Scania R124 Topline).
