Hendrickson's Road Show tractor-trailer is winding through North America, bringing fleet and trucking industry representatives a first-hand look at the company's heavy-duty suspension technology and ride systems.
“Ride-and-drive sessions will be available to demonstrate the total combination of air ride,” says Sean Coleman, truck marketing manager. “Those technologies include an Airtek air-ride steer axle, Vantraax trailer slider system with Quik-Draw fingertip pin-pull mechanism, Dock Stabilizing Technology (DST), and an Aero-Clad bumper.”
The Hendrickson Road Show will swing through the Southwest before returning for a stop in Louisville KY at the Mid-America Trucking Show, where the Road Show rig will be open in space number 9115 of the lot adjacent to the South Wing.
An interactive audiovisual center in the trailer offers a complete library of Hendrickson videos and electronic presentations covering both product education and technical training.
Visitors touring the rig can explore systems including:
Intraax top-mount trailer system
Intraax, a low-ride, liftable trailer primary system
Vantraax trailer air-ride slider suspension system
Trailer axle technology
HT Series
Haulmaax, a truck suspension for vocational applications
Airtek, an integrated front air suspension and steer axle system for trucks and tractors
Paralift, a steerable lift axle for vocational applications
The rig carries hands-on training models including Tri-Functional bushings, air bags, trailer Cam Tube System, height control valves, shocks, brakes, and long-life wheel ends.
