Miller Transporters Inc has promoted Steve Haskins to vice-president — third-party logistics. He previously held positions as director of the Logistics, Contracts, and Pricing Departments.

Gene R Tyndall, executive vice-president of Ryder System Inc's global supply chain solutions, plans to retire at year-end. Tyndall joined Ryder in 1999 after retiring from a 20-year career with Ernst & Young Management consulting. Bobby J Griffin, executive vice-president of global supply chain operations, will handle Ryder's international operations in Asia, Canada, Europe, and Latin America. Anthony G Tegnelia, senior vice-president of business value management, will direct United States-based business development and vertical industry support for supply chain solutions.
