NationaLease has appointed John Grainger to take over as president effective Nov 10, 2003. He replaces William Ford, who plans to retire Jan 1, 2004. Grainger joins NationaLease after serving as chief executive officer for Laidlaw Educational Services. NationaLease has hired three new national account executives — Rick Baker, southeastern region; Jay Hagerty, northeastern region; and Pete Piotrowski, Midwest region — and appointed Andy Stopka director of maintenance for national accounts. Baker most recently served as vice-president/sales at Star Leasing Co. Hagerty comes from Ryder Systems Inc, where he worked most recently as director — new business development. Piotrowski also comes from Ryder Systems, most recently serving as director — business development, food and beverage industry specialist. Stopka most recently was area sales manager for Gateway Industrial Power — Carrier Refrigeration.
