Schneider National Inc has promoted Jim Van Hefty to vice-president and general manager of its bulk division and Don Osterberg to vice-president of safety and capacity development. Previously, Van Hefty was Schneider's vice-president of safety and capacity development, and Osterberg recently held a senior-level position within the company's specialized glass division.

Prime Inc has named Robert Wedderburn as Contractor of the Year for the company's Tanker Division. He joined Prime in September 2001, has had no accidents, and has received his one-year safe driving award. In March 2002, Wedderburn was the division's Contractor of the Month.
