FIBA Technologies Inc, based in Westborough MA, has purchased Southern Tier Cryogenics Inc, an East Greenville PA-based manufacturer of cryogenic transport equipment. The acquisition will be incorporated as a division of FIBA MidAtlantic LLC, Allentown PA, a member of the FIBA Group of companies. The facility will manufacture cryogenic trailers and rehabilitate and repair cryogenic and carbon dioxide trailers. FIBA also will open a new regional sales office at the site, which will market the entire FIBA product line as well as cryogenic trailers.
