The Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) and the Institute of International Container Lessors (IICL) have released a Spanish-language version of their intermodal equipment inspection video, Best Practices for Inspecting Intermodal Equipment.

This resource has been designed for use by Spanish-speaking drivers, mechanics, and other intermodal transportation professionals responsible for inspecting various types of intermodal equipment. The video highlights recommended inspection techniques as well as safety aspects to be considered during the inspection process, a suggested seven-point inspection procedure, and damage assessment and notation practices. A general overview of the suggested walk-around inspection process is also emphasized.
