Dual steering gears offered

Sheppard dual steering gears are available for Peterbilt Motors Co's conventional models. These optional dual steering gears provide improved turning radius by eliminating the power-steering assist cylinder, giving the front wheels more room to turn. Removing the assist cylinder has no impact on turning power or performance, and also reduces maintenance requirements.
Dual steering gears are available for Peterbilt Models 385, 379, 378, and 357 in most configurations.
