Arrow Truck Sales Inc marks 55 years of service

Arrow Truck Sales Inc is celebrating its 55th consecutive year of serving the truck industry and plans to hold special sales promotions, open houses, and giveaways.
Launched in April 1950 on a small lot in Kansas City MO by Jerry Nerman and the late Melvin Spitcaufsky, Arrow today is a leader in pre-owned truck sales in North America, helping truck buyers maximize investment dollars.
“Our first purchase was eight trucks and cars from the Corp of Engineers. I remember we had to roll some of them down a hill to get them started, because we didn't own any jumper cables yet,” said Nerman, co-founder and chairman emeritus of Arrow. He remains active in the daily operations of the company at its headquarters in Kansas City.
A source of pre-owned medium- and heavy-duty trucks, Arrow maintains a diverse inventory of more than 2,000 over-the-road tractors, vocational and specialty vehicles, and trailers. The company also operates a Purchasing & Wholesale Division. With 19 retail locations throughout the United States and Canada, Arrow is part of the Volvo Group of companies, a publicly held company headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden.
