Alumaclear protective clear-coating system effectively keeps polished or milled finished aluminum in superior condition. This spray-applied, air-activated material has been tested successfully since 1998 in the tank trailer and dump trailer/body industry. It also can be used for diesel fuel tanks, wheels, diamondplate fenders and steps, mill-finish fenders, and bumpers. At one-third the cost of paint, self-etching Alumaclear will not peel, flake, or yellow, and no acid washing is necessary, says the company.
