Chevron Products Co's Texaco brand of technologically advanced lubricants and coolants has introduced a new Texaco Syn-Star GL SAE 75W-90 designed to meet Revision C of Dana Corp's (Spicer Axle Division) SHAES 256 specification.

Texaco Syn-Star GL meets all major OEM warranty requirements and is recommended as a rear axle and differential lubricant in on- and off-highway vehicles when operating under severe conditions and in extremely cold or hot environments.

“Meeting major OEM and API requirements allows the use of Texaco Syn-Star GL in Dana, Eaton, and Meritor axles with 500,000-mile drain intervals and 750,000-mile extended equipment warranty,” the company said.
