Peterbilt is now producing the new Model 579 truck,  launched during the recent Mid-America Trucking Show. The 579 features  aerodynamic styling optimized for superior fuel efficiency and an interior that  facilitates operator comfort and productivity. The first 579 production  vehicles are being built for Peterbilt and PacLease dealers.

The new 2.1 meter aluminum cab is solid and durable with  a quality fit and finish. Available in a day cab or with detachable sleeper,  the Model 579 combines versatility and longevity of a second life for a high  resale value. With the integrated Paccar MX 12.9 liter engine, Model 579 buyers  benefit from a vehicle designed for their operational needs.
