Mack employees salute military heroes

Aug 1, 2009 12:00 PM

Fourth of July celebrations remind Americans that freedom comes at a high price. That is why a Mack Pinnacle tractor took its place in the annual Rolling Thunder-Ride for Freedom Rally to honor America's fallen and missing military heroes. On May 23, a group of employees from the New River Valley Plant in Dublin VA, where the Pinnacle was assembled, gathered for a Memorial Day ceremony. Afterward, they joined a convoy of several hundred motorcyclists in a ride to Washington DC to participate in the annual Memorial Day commemorations.

The Pinnacle had a custom-designed graphic wrap highlighting the sacrifices made by servicemen and servicewomen. This marks the sixth year a Mack from NRV has been part of this observance.
