Mack salutes America’s fallen heroes

Jun 6, 2012 9:38 AM

Mack Trucks employees honored America’s fallen or missing military heroes during the recent Memorial Day weekend Rolling Thunder–Ride for Freedom rally.

Employees from the Mack Customer Center and Macungie Assembly Operations, both located in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley, caravanned to Hagerstown MD for a memorial ceremony at the company’s powertrain plant. Following the ceremony, Lehigh Valley and Hagerstown employees traveled by truck and motorcycle to the nation’s capital, joining thousands of participants for the 25th annual rally.

The tribute truck, a Mack Pinnacle axle forward model, featured special graphics honoring the sacrifices of American military personnel and promoting the Wounded Warrior Project, which provides programs and services to severely injured service members in the time between active duty and transition to civilian life.
