International MaxxForce engines to meet 2010 emissions requirements

International Truck and Engine Corp, Warrenville IL, has announced that MaxxForce brand diesel engines will meet the federal 2010 emissions standards for all its core applications without the use of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems.
The company’s strategy is designed to provide customer driven solutions to reduce costs and maintenance needs for buyers of International brand vehicles when the next Environmental Protection Agency on-highway emission standards take effect.
