Freightliner Trucks announced its new Business Class M2e Hybrid will be available for commercial application rentals at International Leasing Co. Inc., based in Seattle and Kent WA.

The Business Class M2e Hybrid was purchased for International Leasing Co.'s rental fleet, which is spec'd for a wide range of uses.

The Class 6 truck features the Eaton medium-duty hybrid electric system and is built specifically to address challenges of hauling loads in an urban setting.

Freightliner's hybrid electric vehicle (HEV), which features a diesel engine coupled with an electric motor/generator and batteries, works in line with the engine and transmission enabling operation with electric or diesel power either separately or together.

The Business Class M2e Hybrid is available for rental at both International Leasing Co. locations.
