WABCO ABS technology integrates ESC

WABCO Holdings Inc showcased its hydraulic anti-lock braking systems (ABS)— a range of hydraulic ABS technology that integrates electronic stability control (ESC) for trucks and buses worldwide—at IAA Commercial Vehicles 2012 in Hanover, Germany, recently.
WABCO’s newest generation of hydraulic ABS integrates ESC for light- and medium-duty commercial vehicles. The firm helps original equipment manufacturers respond to government regulations that increasingly require ESC on different classes of commercial vehicles. From 2013 onward, national authorities will be implementing ESC legislation in Europe, Asia, and North and South America.
WABCO supplies hydraulic ABS in cooperation with Continental AG’s chassis and safety division. Headquartered in Hanover, Continental is a global automotive supplier.
