Shell Rotella T3 NG oil dedicated to usage in natural gas truck engines

Shell Lubricants has introduced Shell Rotella T3 NG Energized Protection oil for use in compressed natural gas (CNG)- and liquefied natural gas (LNG)-fueled engines. This oil uses a customized combination of high-performance additives to adapt and protect under the range of pressures and temperatures found in CNG/LNG-fueled engines.
Shell Rotella T3 NG SAE 15W-40 oil is suitable for applications such as buses and trucks fitted with engines designed to run on 100% CNG or LNG, particularly those preferring relatively low-ash formulations. Shell Rotella T3 NG is suitable for use in Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Mahindra, and Hyundai CNG/LNG engines.
This engine oil helps provide:
Optimized balance of detergents and dispersants that promotes good piston and engine cleanliness, to promote long and efficient engine operation.
Ignition system protection through reduced levels of “ash” containing additives, which control deposit formation in the combustion chamber.
