Shell Rotella comes with limited warranty

The Energized Protection of Shell Rotella heavy-duty engine oils is now backed by a lubrication limited warranty.

This warranty, which comes free with the purchase of Rotella T6 full synthetic or T5 synthetic blend or Rotella Triple Protection heavy-duty engine oils, covers 10 heavy-duty diesel engine parts for do-it-yourself and installed customer oil changes for up to 10 years or 500,000 miles.

The warranty covers Class 2c-Class 8 vehicles with heavy-duty diesel engines used in on-road applications with a gross vehicle weight of 80,000 pounds or less. The vehicle to be covered may be owned or leased, and have been driven 50,000 miles or less when the owner first used an eligible Rotella engine oil. The manufactured date of the vehicle must also be within the past 24 months of the first use of an eligible engine oil. Other conditions apply.

The warranty works as follows for eligible Rotella oils:

  • Up to 10 years or 500,000 miles (whichever is first) — With exclusive use of Rotella T6 full synthetic engine oil.

  • Up to 10 years or 300,000 miles (whichever is first) — With exclusive use of Rotella T Triple Protection 15W-40 or Rotella T5 synthetic blend 10W-30 or 10W-40 engine oils.

The warranty takes effect six months after the first purchase of eligible Rotella engine oil and stays in effect as long as terms and conditions of the program are followed. Certain conditions apply. Complete terms and conditions and enrollment information are available at www.Rotella.com.
