Paccar recognizes four Meritor facilities

Meritor Inc announced that four of its manufacturing facilities were presented with the 2011 Quality Achievement Award from Paccar Inc. This award recognizes suppliers that have achieved a defect rate of 50 parts per million (ppm) or less during 2011.
The Meritor facilities achieving Paccar’s 50-ppm standard are in Forest City NC, Newark OH, Laurinburg NC, and Manning SC. At least four Meritor facilities have won the award during each of the past three years.
Meritor supplies axles, braking systems, and other drivetrain components for Paccar’s Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF trucks.
