OPW unit launches PetroLink website

Nov 30, 2010 11:36 AM

OPW Fuel Management Systems, part of OPW Fueling Components, has announced the launch of a new website dedicated to its PetroLink Fuel Control System.

Located at www.opwpetrolink.com, the website has been designed to give visitors an explanation of the PetroLink’s use of RFID technology. PetroLink is leading the way in non-intervention fuel control and has been designed to provide the highest level of fuel security, accountability, and control while accurately capturing data without driver intervention, all without the need for wires, special swivels, fuel-authorization cards, or time-consuming installation.

Visitors to the website will find a full explanation of the system, which requires four components for operation:

1) Wireless loop antenna around the fill pipe

2) Vehicle meter that records vehicle data

3) Wireless communication unit that transmits the data to the fuel-site controller

4) Wireless antenna that is installed on the fuel nozzle Also included on the website is a video that demonstrates how the system works from installation to data recovery and storage. An illustrated explanation of how the PetroLink system works is available for download in PDF format, in addition to a two-page Sales Flyer that can also be accessed.
