Eaton boosts Reman availability, coverage with FLEX Reman

Oct 1, 2011 12:00 PM

Eaton Corporation has increased the availability and coverage of its Reman transmissions via the addition of a new FLEX Reman line. In addition, Eaton raised the standard warranty coverage of its entire heavy-duty Reman transmission portfolio to two years for linehaul and 18 months for vocational applications within the United States and Canada.

Both standard and FLEX Reman models employ 100% genuine Eaton technology and are performance-tested to the firm's standards. However, the FLEX Reman transmissions differ from standard Reman transmissions in three ways:

  • No clutch housing (shipped with new gasket)

  • Standard shift bar housing (forward shift bar housing available)

  • Covers a range of torque

Should a dealer not have a standard Reman or FLEX Reman unit in stock, same- and next-day delivery is made possible through the Roadranger Logistic Network.

Eaton also is offering Extended Protection Plans for additional coverage beyond the increased standard warranties of two years for linehaul applications and 18 months for vocational applications. Customers purchasing a standard Reman transmission as part of a glider kit installation receive another year of warranty coverage at no extra cost on the transmission for linehaul applications if they also purchase an Advantage Series clutch and use Roadranger-approved lubricant.

All Reman transmissions are backed by the Roadranger Support drivetrain services network. Call the Roadranger Helpline at 1-800-826-4357 or go to www.Roadranger.com for more information.
