Webb-Tec acquires Solimar

The Webb-Tec Group has acquired Solimar Pneumatics from Thrall Car Management Co effective Dec 1, 2001. Thrall, now part of Trinity Rail Group, will retain the licensing rights to Solimar technology for rail applications. The Trailer and Silo divisions of Solimar will remain in Minneapolis MN.
Roger Webb has been named managing director and chief executive officer of Solimar. Jeff Lucke has been promoted to Minneapolis site manager and director of sales and marketing. Greg Jarvela has been promoted to director of engineering and sourcing.
