Jul 1, 2005 12:00 PM

Grand Rapids MI-based Tyden Group — which includes TydenBrammall in Angola IN, along with operations in Hastings MI and Circleville OH — has been acquired by Crimson Investments, an international private equity firm.

Under the purchase agreement, TydenBrammall and the other Tyden Group businesses will retain their existing company names, management, and focus while seeking global growth opportunities. Crimson and Tyden Group each have an established business in Asia and have experience and expertise in international markets.

Tyden Group's three companies develop, manufacture, and market security and identification products for manufacturers and the transportation industry.

“This purchase is highly beneficial for all parties involved, from Crimson and Tyden Group to the former shareholders and current management and employees,” said Bill Alt, Tyden Group president and chief executive officer. “Crimson will retain Tyden Group's US day-to-day operations while leveraging its global presence and capabilities to continue to expand the company in international markets.”
