Suction and return hose thrives in heat

Jul 1, 2005 12:00 PM

Parker Hannifin's new 811HT high-temperature suction and return hose is a sister product to the 811 suction and return hose. The 811HT meets or exceeds SAE 100R4 requirements, has a one-half SAE 100R4 minimum bend radius, and is suitable for vacuum applications up to 28 inches/Hg.

This hose consists of two or four layers of spiral fabric reinforcement and a helical reinforcing wire spiraled throughout the textile reinforcement to prevent collapse under vacuum. The 811HT has an oil-resistant synthetic rubber inner tube and an oil- and weather-resistant black synthetic rubber cover.

The hose operates at a high temperature range of -40° to +257° F (-40° to +125°C) for petroleum-based hydraulic fluids and lubrication oils. Compatible with crimp-style or field-attachable fittings, 811HT has a highly visible blue helical layline.
