Precision Seal LLC has received a patent for a long-life rotary coupling used on tire inflation systems for heavy-duty trailers. The product offers an atmospheric vent designed to protect the wheel bearings from damage in case of seal failure. “Due to our dual-seal design, seal failure is extremely unlikely,” says James Medsker, president of Precision Seal.

This product marks the first step in an effort to design an economic total truck tire inflation system to keep all tires properly inflated 100% of the time.
