Polar opens new Texas repair facility

Polar Service Centers has opened a new seven-bay repair facility in Beaumont TX managed by Allen Clark, who also manages the company's Houston shop.

The 19,000-square-foot building houses shop and office, as well as a parts section containing $100,000 in inventory, and is on Interstate 10 just east of Beaumont in Rose City.

Services include external and internal visual inspections, lining inspections, leakage testing, pressure retesting, thickness testing, MC330/331 retesting, vapor recovery testing, bottom-loading conversion, major barrel repair, tank passivation, sandblasting/painting, tank changeouts and degassing, tank cleaning for repair only, and custom fabrication.

The shop has an ASME “U” stamp and National Board “R” stamp.
