Neptune Flowmeter Handles High Flow Rates Smoothly

Schlumberger offers the Neptune Type 4 MT petroleum truck flowmeter in 1¼", 1½", 2", and 3" sizes. The large air release promotes smooth flow and accuracy, especially with heavy oil.
Strainer, air release valve, and back-pressure valve are standard. The flowmeter features an aluminum main casing and vapor release housing to save weight. On the 2" meter, the air release may be rotated through 90°.
Flow range throughout the Type 4 product line is 19 liters/minute (5 gpm) to 568 liters/minute (150 gpm). Calibration is in US or Imperial gallons or liters.
Besides the Neptune 800 Series mechanical register and Bestrac Electronic Transaction Management System, compatible registers include the Veeder-Root mechanical and EMR 100 electronic lines, the Midcom 8000, and SmartLink. Neptune distributors have adapters and/or change gears for interfacing these registers to new or existing Neptune Type 4 flowmeters.
