Draeger Safety Inc's Pac Ex 2, a compact hand-held, combustible gas and oxygen monitoring device, is simple to operate. The Pac Ex 2 has a clear, fully functional LCD concentration display with audible, visual, and vibrating alarms to provide personal protection. An optional sample pump permits confined-space measurements. One application of the Pac Ex 2 is measuring combustible gases in the 0-100% LEL range, and the range of 0-25% volume oxygen.

Covering these ranges, the Pac Ex 2 ideally measures for smaller leaks as well as larger concentrations. This new unit holds a battery that lasts more than 12 hours between charges, and the RFI-protected housing protects the environment.
