Terry Hallman has joined Gorski Bulk Transport as Mississauga Ontario, Canada terminal manager. Hallman has more than 20 years' experience in the transportation industry with Andlauer Transportation Service, Penske, Rentway Canada, and Ryder Logistics.
Doug Rutter, manager of trailer purchasing at Trimac Transportation Services Inc, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, died March 23, 2002. He was 58. Rutter was employed at Trimac for more than 30 years in the equipment and purchasing field. He is survived by his wife, Linda; three children; four grandchildren; and a brother.
The board of directors of Ryder System Inc announced that Gregory T Swienton, who has been president and chief executive officer since November 2000, will also become chairman of its board of directors, effective May 3, 2002.
