Dixon Bayco enhances swing check valve line

Jan 1, 2005 12:00 PM

Dixon Bayco announces a new, expanded line of 3- and 4-inch swing check valves for complete flow reversal prevention in dry bulk transfer carriers. These valves are designed to protect foodgrade and sensitive dry bulk contents at temperatures up to 350° F.

Dixon Bayco's swing check valves provide low resistance and true full-flow performance. The computer-generated design eliminates flow restrictions through the body by allowing the flapper to swing completely out of the airflow, thus providing a true full-port flow path. Each valve's cast-aluminum construction includes having the elastomer permanently bonded to the drop-in metal flapper assembly, complemented by all-stainless steel hardware.

All Dixon Bayco swing check valve materials are foodgrade and can tolerate high temperatures. In addition, the sealed, compartmentalized cartridge houses all functioning components, keeping them well away from the blower and the dry bulk contents and simplifying replacement. A bolt-on removable lid permits simple inspection and fast, effortless flapper repair/rebuild without removing from the dry bulk tank.

All Dixon Bayco swing check valves are covered by a one-year limited warranty. For more information, contact Dixon Bayco, 1385 Franklin Grove Rd, Dixon IL 61021.
