Containment pan holds almost 300 gallons

Mar 1, 2004 12:00 PM

Trans Environmental Systems Inc announces the addition of a transportable spill pan unit for protecting the area under railroad tankcars and tanker trucks.

When open, this steel pan covers an area 12 feet by 10 feet and holds nearly 300 gallons of liquid. When not in use, the lids close over the top to keep snow, rainwater, or debris from filling the pan. The user can now take the spill pan to the needed location rather than bring the tankcar or truck to a containment basin. This unit weighs 1,600 pounds, so it can be moved by even the lightest forklift.
