Premier Pneumatics Inc's Series³ 2400 PLC Central Controller consists of two models. One model operates up to 24 vacuum receivers on one or two blowers, and another model controls up to 48 vacuum receivers on two, three, or four blowers.

The Series³ 2400 PLC contains a low-voltage cable system with quick-connect plugs color-coated for each device that allows the receivers to be connected to the Central Controller without tools. In addition, low-voltage wiring generally does not require an electrician or conduit.

Designed for use with Series³ 2400 receivers, the unit has a 5.7" color touchscreen for system status and control with an alarm message screen. It features an Allen Bradley Micrologix 1500 programmable controller with DeviceNet communications. From one central location, an operator can turn receivers on and off, set draw times, and control and view all system functions. Help screens are provided with system installation, programming, and troubleshooting information.

Options include an EEProm memory module for PLC program backup, a modem kit that enables the controller to be remotely accessed from Premier's office, and a receiver-mounted Run/Inhibit selector panel for local control of the receiver.
