Cargo Tank Workshops Planned for 2001

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and National Tank Truck Carriers (NTTC) will host cargo tank test and inspection workshops in Houston TX and San Francisco CA in early 2001. Workshops will be taught by Department of Transportation (DOT) inspectors and will focus on regulatory compliance with CFR Part 180 and other regulations covering specification cargo tanks.
The Houston workshop will be held Jan 9-10 at the Radisson Hobby Airport Hotel. The San Francisco workshop will be held Feb 21-22 at the Ramada Inn San Francisco Airport. The registration fee for each meeting is $225. Participants receive a DOT inspection workbook, NTTC cargo tank hazardous materials regulations book, and a certificate of attendance.
