Haldex has a new brochure that introduces users to the operation, features, and benefits of the PLC Series trailer ABS (antilock braking system).
This system automatically configures itself to various combinations of sensors and modulator valves, which means this single-system platform can meet multiple trailer ABS requirements. Advanced multiplexing technology, matched with an ASIC computer chip, allows this system to handle various additional “smart trailer” control and monitoring functions-while providing standard ABS functions.
Also highlighted is Haldex's patented SLH software, which further improves braking control at each wheel. The brochure also keys on the FFABS valve that combines ABS, service brake, spring brake, and anti-compounding functions into one component.
