Blackmer vane pumps resist corrosion

Nov 1, 2005 12:00 PM

Blackmer TX Series transport and tank truck vane pumps and GX Series vane pumps for terminal applications are compatible for handling alcohol, biodiesel, or alcohol/gasoline blends (E10-E85). Designed for delivery of low-viscosity liquids, TX and GX Series vane pumps have specially designed seals to contain thin liquids and withstand the corrosive nature of alcohol, biodiesel, or alcohol/gasoline blends. The pumps are engineered with symmetrical ball-bearing support that maintains shaft and seal alignment to prevent leakage.

TX and GX Series pumps offer high suction lift and line clearing capabilities and have an adjustable relief valve for overall system protection. The TX Series comes in 1½", 2", 2½", 3", and 4" sizes with capacities of 10 to 500 US gpm. The GX Series for terminal applications is provided in 2", 2½", 3", and 4" sizes with capacities of 30 to 520 US gpm.
