ArvinMeritor Inc has added a major new component to its portfolio of remanufactured components: trailer axles, initially targeted at the North American intermodal motor carriers. Production began earlier this month at the company's 270,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Plainfield IN.

The remanufactured trailer axles, as with the other reman components, are produced according to strict, engineering-approved specifications. The axles have the full corporate resources of ArvinMeritor behind them, both in terms of OE engineering and technical field support.
